Application
1. Both allopurinol and its metabolite alloxanthine have the effect of inhibiting xanthine oxidase, thereby blocking uric acid synthesis, reducing blood uric acid concentration, and decreasing urate deposition in bones, joints, and kidneys.
2. Anti gout drugs. Suitable for various diseases with primary or secondary serum uric acid elevation, such as gout, acute or chronic leukemia, etc.
3. Inhibitors of xanthine oxidase and pyridine synthesis.
