Application
1. Food acidity agent: plays an important role in antibacterial and anti-corrosion.
2. Acidity regulator, acidifier, anti thermal oxidation assistant, curing accelerator, spice. When used as a solid beverage gasifier, the bubbles are persistent and delicate;
3. Fine chemical intermediates such as medicine and optical bleach. It is used in the production of antidote sodium dimercaptosuccinate and blood rich iron for the treatment of small red blood cell anemia
4. Also used for producing unsaturated polyester resin.
It is soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is strongly alkaline; insoluble in ethanol and carbon disulfide.
