Description
Ammonium chloride is a quick acting nitrogen fertilizer made by the direct reaction of synthetic ammonia and hydrochloric acid, with a nitrogen content of 24-25%. It dissociates chloride ions and ammonium ions in the soil, which are absorbed by crops. The former combines with hydrogen ions in the soil to form hydrochloric acid. Long term application of ammonium chloride requires the addition of lime.

Ammonium chloride is mainly used in dry batteries, batteries, ammonium salts, tanning, electroplating, medicine, photography, electrodes, adhesives, etc. Ammonium chloride is also a quick acting nitrogen chemical fertilizer, with a nitrogen content of 24% to 25%, and is a physiological acidic fertilizer. It is suitable for crops such as wheat, rice, corn, and rapeseed, especially for cotton and linen crops, which have the effect of enhancing fiber toughness and tensile strength, and improving quality.
